Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Mallon has management responsibility for all of Kore’s business operations, as well as oversight of the company's administration, human resources, information technology, marketing and legal departments. He draws upon a wealth of diverse experience stemming from a 25 year career in construction, architecture, engineering, insurance and surety to drive KORE’s construction consulting practices. Mr. Mallon’s credits include building and growing national and regional construction practices for two major brokers and a regional agency in the Southeast. Mr. Mallon also executed a turnaround project that resulted in a new strategic initiative for a billion dollar plus construction property and casualty carrier. His work included restructuring, exiting unprofitable business segments and geographic regions, streamlining the decision making process, consolidating fragmented underwriting, claims, and risk control disciplines including utilization of third party training to facilitate return to long term and sustained profitability. He has also been involved in product development initiatives and consulting to increase revenue for his clients. Mr. Mallon has lead efforts to differentiate his clients from their competition while making a measurable impact on the bottom line. His consulting services have included Strategic Planning, Project Management & Administration, System Processes, Alternative Risk Transfer, Contract Review, Surety, Insurance, and Banking Placements. He began his career after his military service as a Regional Underwriting Officer of a National Surety carrier. Mr. Mallon is a frequent speaker nationally and regionally for contractor associations, banks, accounting and law firms. He has authored three consecutive revisions on the CFMA's Construction Financial Management Accounting Guide's Chapter on Suretyship. Mr. Mallon is a graduate of the United States Military Academy.
